Juwel aqua clean gravel cleaners are suitable for all makes of aquariums between 30cm and 60cm in height.
The aqua clean allows a simple intake of water by the use of quickstart meaning no need to suck on the pipe to get the water flowing.
It also includes an adapter for cleaning the juwel aquariums internal filter.

It is essential with all aquariums to ensure regular cleaning of the gravel, as all un eaten food and fish waste not picked up by the filter system will inevitably end up among the gravel, with a constant water movement this waste will soon get in between the gravel and will may be visible to the naked eye. this unseen waste will soon pollute the aquarium and begin to cause ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels to rise which will no doubt cause the fish stress, or even worst if left for to long can result in fatalities. It is recommended the you use a gravel cleaner whenever you do a water change, which should be carried out every week to 2 weeks. Remember when topping out the aquarium after a water change that you must use a de chlorinator if replenishing with tap water.
