The dimensions of this tank are ideal. They allow for a good volume of water, while not taking up to much of a footprint. This allows for a good mix of fish! The finish of the glass & Sealant is very nice. The floating base is finished well, as is the top rim for lid placement. The lid is a little bit 'different' as it has a free-fitting mid section that contains the lights and then two lifting elements that again are completely loose. This will make the lids easy to clean, but the light portion will be a tad tricky to work around I think! Not enough of a worry to avoid purchase though, as this is a very good looking tank. Light tubes are great! The new heater is very attractive as it is streamlined and silver to reflect its surroundings. The U2 Filter is very quiet indeed and a doddle to set-up. There is a need to buy Fluvel filter internal elements through, but at a few quid per month that's no problem. The tank comes with chemical for 'new tank start-up as well as food and routine water change chemical! Great Stuff. All in all, for the price this is a lovely product.
