The Tetra Marine 5 in 1 Test Strips allows accurate readings within minutes, just dip the tetra test stip into the water for 1 second. Shake of excess liquid. and wait approx. 60 seconds  then compare the test strips fields with the scale provided.

• Tetra Calcium - Ca Test

Calcium - Ca is a very important saltwater parameter. The Calcum - Ca concentration in natural seawater is 420mg/l and this is the recommended concentration for marine aquariums.

• Tetra Nitrite - NO2 / Nitrate NO3 Test

As part of the ''nitrogen cycle'', organic material that contain nitrogen, such as fish waste and uneaten food, along with dissolved waste excreted directly by the fish, degrades to produce Nitrite - NO2 and finally Nitrate - NO3. Nitrite in concentrations greater than 2.5mg/l, or lower levels present over extended periods, is harmful to your fish. Nitrate in concentrations greater than 10mg/l is harmful to invertabrates. When the Tetra 5 in 1 Marine test strip shows that Nitrite - NO2 or Nitrate - NO2 concentrations are too high carry out a partial water change

• Tetra Carbonate Hardness Test

Ideal KH values are between 8° and 10° dh. Carbonate Hardness - KH represents the bicarbonate concentration, which acts to stabilize pH

• Tetra pH Test

The pH value of water is a measure of the degree of acidity and alkalinity. A pH value between 8.2 and 8.6 will be tolerated by every species of seawater fish. However, ideal Ph ranges can be species dependent.
